PartyKit is a party games app designed for groups playing together in the same room.
This Privacy Policy explains what information PartyKit may collect, how it is used, and what choices you have.
1. Information stored locally on your device
PartyKit may store some information locally on your device, such as:
- Recent player names
- Game settings
- Language preference
- Theme preference
- Sound and haptic preferences
- Other local gameplay preferences
This information is used to make it easier to start future games and customize your experience.
Player names are stored locally on your device and are not used to create an account.
2. Analytics
PartyKit uses PostHog to understand how people use the app and to improve the experience.
Analytics data may include information such as:
- App screens viewed
- Buttons or features used
- Game modes started
- General usage events
- Device and app information
- Approximate technical information such as operating system version, app version and device type
This information helps us understand which features are useful, find problems and improve the app.
We do not use PostHog to intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
3. Advertising
PartyKit uses Google AdMob to display ads.
AdMob may collect information such as:
- Device identifiers
- Advertising identifiers, depending on your device settings and consent
- IP address
- Ad interactions
- App usage information related to ads
- Crash logs
- Performance and diagnostic data
This data may be used to provide, measure and improve advertising. Depending on your consent and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

4. App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, PartyKit may ask for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites in order to show more relevant ads.
You can allow or deny this permission. You can also change your choice later in your device settings.
5. Purchases
PartyKit may offer premium features through in-app purchases.
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. PartyKit does not collect or store your payment card details.
6. No account required
PartyKit does not require you to create an account.
7. Children's privacy
PartyKit is intended for general audiences and local group play.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Data sharing
PartyKit may share limited data with third-party service providers used to operate, analyze and monetize the app, including:
- Google AdMob, for advertising
- PostHog, for analytics
- Apple, for App Store purchases and app distribution
We do not sell personal information.
9. Data retention
Local data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the app.
Analytics and advertising data may be retained by PostHog, Google AdMob or Apple according to their own retention policies.
10. Your choices
You can:
- Delete recent players inside the app, if available
- Change app settings inside the app
- Disable personalized tracking through iOS privacy settings
- Reset or limit advertising identifiers through your device settings
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device
